What services are available?
Pickfords offers a range of removals services if you are moving to France
including;
Direct Load
Your effects are packed at your home and loaded onto a European road vehicle
and transported directly to your new home. You can select a delivery date to
suit your requirements.
Part Load
Your effects are packed at your home on an agreed date and transferred to our
warehouse for onward transport to your new home. We will agree a delivery
window with you and will advise you of the scheduled delivery date when it is
known. This service is a more cost effective service than Direct Load and is
recommended if you can be flexible with your delivery dates.
What should I be aware of when moving to France?
Narrow streets, parking restrictions, apartment blocks can all pose their own
particular problems when moving to France. Sometimes special equipment or
expertise can be required. As an Allied agent, Pickfords, through its European
network has access to any specialist equipment (hoists, shuttle vehicles) to
ensure the safe delivery of your effects to your new home.
